Do I remain responsible for the clinical treatment decision?

Yes, always. OrthoPlaniX is a B2B planning service to licensed dental professionals. You prescribe the objectives, you review the setup in 3D, and nothing moves to production without your explicit digital approval. The treating doctor retains full clinical responsibility and control.

Is my first case really free?

Yes. Your first submitted case is planned at no charge so you can judge our planning quality in the 3D viewer before committing to per-case or subscription pricing. No card required to register.

What files do I need to submit?

Accepted Answer

At minimum: intraoral scans (STL, OBJ or PLY) for the arches being treated, plus your treatment objectives. Photographs, X-rays (panoramic/cephalometric) and clinical notes significantly improve planning quality. Files upload securely inside the case form.

What software do you use?

We are platform-independent by design and work across major digital orthodontic workflows — including 3Shape, ArchForm and comparable platforms — adapting to the software preference and export format you specify when submitting a case.

How quickly will I receive my plan?

Standard turnaround is 24 hours from complete records. Clinic Plan cases enter a priority queue, and Lab & Enterprise partners can agree custom SLA-backed commitments for volume work.

Can I request revisions?

Accepted Answer

Yes — request a revision directly from the case page with structured notes. The case moves to 'Revision Requested', your planning team is notified instantly, and the refined plan returns to your portal. Single cases include one revision round; Clinic Plan includes two per case.

What happens if I don't agree with the setup?

You tell us why — expansion vs IPR preference, staging pace, attachment style, anything. We revise to your prescription. If a case genuinely cannot meet your objectives with aligners alone, we say so and document the limitation rather than forcing a plan.

Can you match my treatment philosophy?

Yes — that is core to the model. We capture your preferences (expansion vs IPR, staging velocity, attachment style, elastics usage) and apply them consistently across every case we plan for you.

Do you work with dental labs?

Yes — labs are a core partner channel. Your lab keeps the doctor relationship and the manufacturing; we plan under your brand with white-label delivery, volume pricing, a priority queue and SLA options. See our For Labs page.

Can you work under my brand (white-label)?

Yes. For labs, aligner companies and enterprise partners, all plans and doctor-facing communication can carry your brand — your customers never need to know OrthoPlaniX is behind the workflow.

Do you support complex cases?

Accepted Answer

Yes — deep bites, open bites, Class II/III correction, extraction cases and multidisciplinary setups. Complex cases receive additional senior review, and we document the biomechanical reasoning behind key decisions in the plan. Browse the Case Library for examples.

How is patient data protected?

Files travel over encrypted connections and are stored in access-controlled cloud storage, visible only to your account and the assigned planning team. We ask for de-identified patient references (initials + chart number) rather than full names. Full detail on our Security & Privacy page.

Do you manufacture aligners? Can I use my own manufacturer?

We do not manufacture — and that independence is deliberate. You receive the final approved setup and can produce with any lab or manufacturer you choose. Many clients route production through their existing lab partner.

Can I cancel my monthly plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the Clinic Plan is month-to-month with no long-term lock-in. Cancel anytime and simply continue on per-case pricing whenever you need us.
